The story of the D29 brand and how it came into existence is nothing but my desire of promoting
culture and lifestyle.

D29 is a fashion brand and a growing empire that produces mainly the AFRICA attire popularly
called “AGBADA”; It’s the predominant cultural attire for men from the western region of Nigeria;
from everyday agbadas’ worn by men in the olden days to their farms, for their hunting etc. to
the elaborate agbadas’ worn to occasions by both young and old, to the regal Aso-oke worn by
Royalty and men of prestige is a true testament that the Agbada has come a long way and will
continue to evolve. Gone are the days when, Agbada was mostly worn by our fathers and the
kings, these days, it’s a whole trend amongst the youth and there is diversity in the designs of
the Agbada worn by the sophisticated men and even women.
The Nigerian fashion brand has unleashed the new era of fashion statement and D29 is at the
centre of this evolution. The D29 is not just a fashion brand, it’s also a movement and the
movement (or our household as we love to call it) keeps serving at its best every year.
